Bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. We have 2 other matching pieces (storage seat & garbage pail) and that is what drew me to this cooler. We have only used it once but it was such a hit! We had 2 bags of ice, case of beer bottles, couple 2 liter bottles of soda & wine inside and had room for more! Older family members were happy not to bend over into the typical red cooler. Outside basket was perfect for cups. I'll make something to hold a bottle opener & permanent magic marker. Clean up was easy - pull stopper at bottom and almost every drop of water drained out! Husband put it together pretty easily. The door on storage box on bottom doesn't latch properly. Not sure if our fault during assembly or if defect. Haven't checked that yet. Was missing a grommet and company sent it to us VERY quickly and without question.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
