For those who have trouble with the spout dripping upon pouring--just flip back the hinge of the spout-cover before you pour. With it turned back there's not a single drop of water out of place. Enjoy!

PS--I love love love the whistle. Best Christmas gift ever!

When we first got this kettle I thought it was not the whistling type of kettle. Well let me tell you, this kettle has a beautiful twin tone sound that comes out of 2 slots under the top knob. Very sweet sound. It took me a while to figure out where the sound was coming from. it is a very calming tone instead of the usual sharp whistle you normally hear. It will make tea time most enjoyable. It is very sleek with its seamless exterior.
