A Little Disappointed
Comments about Product: I was a lttle disappointed with my chair pads. I was expecting them to all look the same and they do not. I chose Black Multi print but they vary as to how much of each color is included in each chair pad. I will keep them as I don't want to go through the trouble of returning them.

Would buy again. Happy with product.
Comments about Product: Product very nice according to my sister the receiver of the Birthday gift. But the Birthday surprised was "ruined" since the chair pads were mailed out in a CLEAR plastic bag. I was not told that either. The Vendor needs to change that bag.
Why in this day and age would anyone mail using a CLEAR plastic bag so that the contents are visible. Plow & Hearth needs to get that vendor to change their mailing bags to a solid color.
second time ordering this rug for office
Comments about Product: So durable. I'm also using for not only my home but my office too.
i LOVE THEM
Comments about Product: these treads are just beautiful. they really stand out against the oak stairs. the downside, which is small, is that for using the stair tread kit, the treads vary in size some are an inch to a have inch difference. Although, when they are on the stairs you can't really tell. I still love them!
Comments about Product: Love the multiple colors, great quality, wish that they were easier to clean. This gift was much appreciated.
Braided Chair Pads
Comments about Product: If you are new to braided chair pads and/or rugs, you should never purchase anything but wool. Wool is solid material all the way from one side to the other. It will wear, but it will not lose its color or fabric content. Tubular braided products wear out almost immediately. There is a thin layer of braided fabric lying on top of a filler material. When the thin layer wears out, you see "stuffing." Plow & Hearth sells nothing but quality products. If they charge a bit more than big-box stores, it's worth every penny.
Wrong color and too thin
Comments about Product: The online colors were much brighter, deeper than the actual rug. Thought I was getting red highlights as one of the colors and got pink instead. Also, the rug won't lie flat because it's too thin. I have other braided rugs that lie flat, even without a pad underneath.
Comments about Product: We tried to attach them to the steps with the kit installation kit (bought separately) but it did not hold them so we tacked them down. They are beautiful! So we also bought the runner and the 3x5 and the entire set is gorgeous! We couldn't be more pleased!
Comments about Product: I purchased the 8 x 11 walnut multi oval rug for my great room - I absolutely love it! The colors are so nice. only one "sprout" was noticeable and need trimmed. I am very happy with this beautiful, well made rug!
Comments about Product: I laid the rug on the path my dogs use when they come in the back door on my pine floor. I also purchased a pad as underlayment. I've only had them for a couple of weeks, so far, so good. Looks great, feels great. As far as wear & tear, too soon to tell.

Perfect complement to our Hitchcock dining room!
Comments about Product: Top quality - rich colors - we couldn't be more pleased with the rugs & matching chair pads.
Comments about Product: I received the rug in the color of Navy Multi. It is a beautiful rug. I wanted a rug that was made in the good old USA. If I had one complaint, it would be that the rug is shipped in clear plastic, which can be subject to tears. Luckily, the rug was okay. The manufacturer needs to use a stronger opaque material. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because I need to see how it wears.

Pretty nice rug
Comments about Product: I was VERY uneasy about ordering a rug and then facing the possibility of having to pay return shipping if I did not like but I could not find a braided rug locally that was of any quality at all so I took a chance after reading the reviews and decided to go for it since I was tired of looking for one. I am pleased with the color and construction although I still think it was a little pricey but all in all I really do like it I can't say how it will hold up I can only hope it will last as long as the last one I had which I still use but moved it to sunroom. Just READ reviews and be hopeful.

The Olla: A Brief History
Olla (Spanish, pronounced “oh-ya”) jars have been around since ancient times. Made of unglazed ceramic, ollas traditionally have short, narrow necks with wider bodies, and are made in a variety of shapes. They have been used for thousands of years for cooking, storage, and plant irrigation.
When used to irrigate plants, an olla is buried neck-deep in the ground near a plant’s roots, with the opening of the olla extended above the soil so that it can be filled with water periodically. The porous walls of the unglazed pottery allow the water to seep through gradually, constantly and consistently hydrating the plants without overwatering them – and without wasting precious water to evaporation or runoff.
The use of ollas for irrigation was introduced to the American Southwest by Spanish conquistadors during Colonial times, becoming very common among Native American tribes and Hispanic settlers. Though the technique gave way to more modern methods of irrigation some time ago, its superior efficiency, coupled with its simplicity, has caused it to make a comeback. Though the technique has changed little since its introduction, today’s ollas are usually capped off, making them even more water-efficient.
Perfect for home gardens, Ollas are a super-easy, eco-friendly, less time-consuming way to water annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and plants of all kinds in dry, sandy soil, very hot or drought-prone areas, raised beds, and even pots, planters and hanging baskets. Fill the olla before you leave on a short vacation to enjoy worry-free watering – and a smaller water bill!
