Comments about Product: I bought this to cover an outdoor wicker loveseat, 2 chairs, 2 tables and miscellaneous plant stands. It is great. We were able to get everything under one cover on the deck without having to worry about covering everything individually. It was easy to install and looks wonderful. The only complaint is that their should be more grommets to tie around legs of the furniture. I realize we are using it for something other than a table cover, so I cannot fault Plow & Hearth for the lack of grommets.
Comments about Product: We cover our patio table and chairs during periods of non-use. It is exposed to heat and wind. The cover fits completely over a large rectagular table and 4 chairs. There are tie-downs for windy periods. When we put it on we order a new one so that when one wears out we have a replacement. This is only the third one we ordered over 6-7 years.
Comments about Product: The 2 outdoor table covers I prchased for a round table and chairs and a large rectangluar and large chairs are excellent so far. They feature a unique design that prevents pooling of water. I am very happy to have finally found a product to solve the problem that has not been answered by other products.
Comments about Product: This product is huge (bigger than dimensions stated), an odd shape, it is not a rectangle but an octagon, it came with no instructions (if it had been a rectangle it wouldn't need instructions). Very frustrated, even customer service did not know how to drape this over the table with all the extra material.
Comments about Product: I am not sure why this wasn't water repellent. The material was durable enough. We used it to cover our table and cushioned chairs. After a rain we were displeased when discovered the 3" cushions soaked and the inside of the cover was dripping. We may have gotten one that slipped through quality control. Plow and Hearth was great about the return service. I did not order a replacement.
Comments about Product: The sizing is a bit misleading. The cover is NOT truly rectangular. It tapers at both ends. That said, it covers our 5 ft. table, 4 chairs, and bench easily. I would recommend ditching the included ties and get bungee cords to secure the cover as it is prone to ballooning when it is windy.
Comments about Product: The idea of this cover was great, and the fit over our teak table with six chairs was perfect. However, the construction of the cover was terrible as it is *NOT* waterproof, and within a month we noticed dozens of pinhole-sized holes when looking under it on a sunny day.
The stand is a great idea in theory, but in practice it was unstable and blew over even during light breezes. The rubber feet fell off easily exposing the table's surface to the bare metal of the stand: *NOT* something one wants to have happen on an expensive table.
The design of this cover is great, but the engineering/production quality is terrible. It may be adequate for keeping off the sun, but it is certainly not adequate for rain.
Comments about Product: This is our third purchase of different ourdoor furniture covers. We keep our deck furniture outside all Winter. This product is very durable and protects even through the harshest Winter. We just removed the covers and the furniture is as clean as when it was stored last Fall. The covers are easy to use and stay in place through wind and snow with the secure ties that are included. We are very impressed. We just purchased the loveseat cover after trying the table and chair cover. I'm sure we will get many more seasons out of these covers.
Comments about Product: I bought this table cover last fall based on the great reviews. It's okay but it's not completely waterproof. We live in a very windy area so the leg ties were one of the main reasons I bought the cover. Three out of four of the ties have broken. I was expecting a better and longer lasting product.
Comments about Product: This is a high quality, durable furniture cover at a very reasonable price. The cover is pretty thick but still flexible. I would recommend it to anyone whating to cover outdoor furniture.
Comments about Product: This cover is great for our 3 season porch furniture. We put everthing in the middle of the porch and covered it. Every thing fit perfectly and has protected the furniture from our cold harsh winter we had this year.
Comments about Product: THIS TABLE AND CHAIR COVER FITS VERY WELL. HAS A LITTLE "STICK" TO PLACE IN THE MIDDLE TO HELP WATER RUN OFF. MY COVER IS USED ON A PORCH SO DOESN'T GET TOO MUCH WEATHER ABUSE. INCLUDES BUNGEES TO HOLD SECURE IN HIGH WINDS AND A STORAGE BAG FOR OFF SEASON. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT OVERALL.
Comments about Product: Replaced these with ones only 1 year old and torn to pieces. They are strong and have stood up to snow, (heavy snow) and winds up to 60 mph. Glad we made the switch, and look forward to using them for years to come.
Comments about Product: This is a very attractive, well made cover. The biggest, and major problem, I have is keeping the cover ON the table/chairs. I'm on 10 acres and susceptible to high winds. EVERY time we had more than a breeze, the cover would blow off. I'm sending mine back and will keep searching.
Comments about Product: We purchased this cover to protect our patio set during the winter. It was pretty easy to put on and seems very well made. We have been having lots of wind lately and the cover has stayed in place very well. The only thing I would have liked would be more cords to attach it to the table and chair legs, but we just used some rope to make additional ties and that seems to be fine. The real test will be when we see how it all looks in the Spring. So far I would recommend this product.
Comments about Product: We are very dissppointed in the garden furniture cover, it was described as being waterproof and we found it let in water after a light shower. Not at all happy and would not recommend this to anyone.
Comments about Product: great quality but didn't fit over table and chairs. Since our chairs don't fit all the way under the table, the cover would only cover the tops of two of the chairs. Debating on getting extra large as afraid this still may be an issue [...]
Comments about Product: This cover looks like it might be a nice cover but I am not able to use it as it is not the size and shape described. I was expecting the cover to be rectangular in shape, 106" long and 71" wide.
It is actually hexagonal. It's 106" long and is 71" wide in the middle but tapers down to 19" wide on each end. It's only 71" wide for the middle 50" of the cover.
Comments about Product: Okay, the good news first: Since we installed this cover about a week ago, we have had heavy rains AND an accumulation of about 1/2" of snow. (Upstate New York in mid-November.) The cover is basically a "fitted tarp," and the heavy-gauge vinyl material seems to withstand the elements just fine.
The bad news is that today the wind is up to 15-30 mph, and the tarp has basically blown loose from all its connections to the table and six chairs it was covering. This is because the eight spring-loaded clasps provided with the tie-down cords are so flimsily sprung as to be useless. This is not a hurricane here...we're talking 30 mph!
So my wife and I will be out there tomorrow starting all over again, but this time with moorings of our own design...probably bungee cords, or perhaps 1/4" rope.
The manufacturer of this product should be prevailed upon by the vendor to improve it so end-users don't have to cobble together their own fixes. Alternatively, the product listing on this website could warn potential customers that this large cover will behave like a mainsail -- no, come to think of it, it was more like a spinnaker -- in a stiff breeze, which by itself is no problem. The inability to moor the tarp properly with the fittings provided is the problem.
In any event, that design flaw makes it tough for us to recommend this product without including such a warning. The sad part is that the cords/clasps amount to maybe 2% of the total $$ value of the product as sold.
